"I go to the Afterschool program, and I was able to do the research and print the pictures and information for my missions project there. I got an "A" on my project and in that class!" Luis @ SMP
Highway City Community Development partners with Central Unified for many endeavors- one of the best is working side by side with the Rotary Interact Club students- who help monthly with our Food Distributions and events.
"The people at HCTS are very friendly people. They brought me in with open arms. They gave me a chance when no one else would". Eddie, 2016
Highway City Thrift has changed my life in so many ways. I had trouble finding a job because of a lack of experience. I have learned so many things, and it is opening a lot of doors for me." Merary, 2016
"Working with the kids is such a positive experience. If we didn't have these programs, I don't think there would really be anyone there to help with homework, or even for the kids to just have someone to talk to."

Highway City Community Resource Center
"mixed use professional building"
In partnership with both private, public, and other donors- a vision cast long ago is coming to fruition.
This center will house a Fresno County Library branch (permanent footprint) and our dental friends Healthy Smiles- who will bring wellness care to the families of Central Unified.
Plans to bring additional resources for our community members are in the works...
It will be an impactful hub for our neighbors.
Look for more info in the coming weeks & months!
