New **Hot** Lunch program runs daily through August 3th for any/all children who need a lunch- held at Courtyard Apartments Rec Center 4798 N. Cornelia Ave 12:30-1:00pm Open to all

SUMMER 2017 Recap
2nd-8th graders met daily where they too worked on skills to reinforce learning from school, and enrichment activities to prepare for the grade they will be entering. A summer Reading Challenge with goals were an element each child strived to succeed at. Computers, Games and fun activities are part of the weekly curriculum.
The Courtyard Apartments Summer Program met on Tuesday and Thursdays for enrichment, reading and activities. This program was open to children Kindergarten - 8th grade. The children attending at Courtyard also had a STEM focus with a Minecraft theme, where building and engineering feats were the focus!
The lunch program was open to all children needing a nutritious lunch. Served at Courtyard apartments from 12:30-1:00pm Monday - Friday.

- Over 50 children were enrolled in our summer program - none had ever had life experiences like what they were able to be part of this summer!
- Over 670 lunches were served during the summer!
- 12 children got to attend a week-long overnight summer camp experience at Calvin Crest through Care Fresno!
- 24 children attended a 2 week long Science camp in partnership with Highway City Science Workshop - focused on aerodynamicsengineering
- 26 students (aged 10-16) attended River Ecology camp this summer at Sycamore Pond along the San Joaquin River
- The children read hundreds of pages to keep their reading skills top notch this summer- no summer learning loss here!
